Originally hailing from London, our amazing head Chef Harveen Khera lived and worked in San Francisco for 20+ years before relocating to New Orleans.
As former head chef and owner to the much beloved and missed Tallula restaurant in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco, Harveen brings her love of local, seasonal cuisine to our kitchen, and how we are fortunate!
Harveen worked closely with Rabbi Uri Topolosky of the Beth Israel Congregation in Metairie, LA to ensure that Hillel’s Kitchen follows strict Kosher guidelines.
Inspired by International street cuisine, Harveen’s menu is fresh, full of flavor and simply delicious.
