An alumna of Tulane University (Class of ‘21), Hannah Erbrick comes back to Tulane Hillel as the Manager of Jewish Life and Learning. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia in an interfaith family. Having a Catholic father and a Jewish mother, Hannah was raised with exposure to both religions and chose Judaism for herself at the age of 12. She loves the breadth and beauty of Jewish literature and the infinite possibilities of learning within a Jewish lens. She believes anyone can find a home within Judaism as she did.

Hannah has always loved New Orleans, it being her mother’s hometown and the city her great-grandfather moved to when he fled Poland. After graduating from Tulane, Hannah worked at Ecole-Bilingue de la Nouvelle Orléans before moving to Haifa, Israel to teach English for a year. Her time in Israel taught Hannah about the diversity within Judaism and the different ways we can find kehillah (community) anywhere we are.

Hannah practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and loves the outdoors! Her favorite book is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and her favorite director is Yorgos Lanthimos.
