Mercedes Ohlen founded Alligator Sk8er as an experimental fashion brand based around the idea that no fabric should be wasted. By using thrifted fabrics, masks, tops, and various other pieces are one of a kind and all made by hand. All of the pieces are made by Mercedes Ohlen, a student who taught herself to sew and crochet through trial and error. Mercedes is donating 50% of her proceeds to The LGBT+ Archives Project of Louisiana.
