The acclaimed documentary, The Gatekeepers (dir. by Dror Moreh, 2012), takes viewers into first of their kind interviews with six former heads of Shin Bet, Israel’s Secret Service, where they share their insights and reflect publicly on their actions and decisions. The Gatekeepers offers an exclusive account of the sum of their successes and failures. It validates the reasons that each man individually and the six as a group came to reconsider their hardline positions and advocate a conciliatory approach toward their enemies based on a two-state solution. The screening will be followed by discussion led by Andrew Leber, Assistant Professor of Political Science and Middle East & North African Studies.
