Gourmet Kosher Restaurant Set To Open at Tulane

Gourmet Kosher Restaurant Set To Open At Tulane

By Michelle Honig

Kosher-keeping freshmen heading to Tulane this fall will finally have an easy time gaining the freshman fifteen like their fellow (non-kosher-keeping) classmates: gourmet kosher food will be available at the university’s Hillel house.

A graduate of the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York, Esses has created a menu that will feature healthy dishes like a curried chickpea burger and a turkey club made with beef bacon and a Caesar salad (sans Parmesan cheese). The restaurant is open to Tulane students as well as the general public.
