Erica is thrilled to combine her passions for building Jewish community and supporting students in her role as Assistant Director at Tulane Hillel. A graduate of Tulane (undergrad and one of her master’s degrees- roll wave,) Erica most recently supported Tulane students across campus as an Assistant Director of Academic Advising. She has a background in Jewish Education and Social Work. Erica has worked in Jewish communities across the country, including Metro Detroit, Miami, and now New Orleans. She is committed to creating inclusive spaces and meeting students where they are. Known for her warm and inclusive approach, Erica is passionate about empowering students to explore their identities and grow as leaders.

In her free time, Erica loves embracing all that New Orleans has to offer—exploring festivals, enjoying as much live music as possible, and dancing down the parade route in her Mardi Gras dance krewe. You’ll likely see her at a cheese class every month. Erica can also be found almost any day of the week walking her dog, Jack, in City Park. Through her passion for community and connection, she ensures Tulane Hillel is a space where students feel truly at home.
